Blake Newton started waterfowling when he was 12 years old and still remembers the first blue wing teal he shot with an old side by side 20 gauge. Blake grew up hunting the lakes and fields of northern Indiana and since has hunted waterfowl from the potholes of North Dakota down to the rice fields in the Mississippi Delta. He now lives in Nashville, Tennessee and enjoys hunting all kinds of game, but his favorite pursuit is chasing ducks up and down the Mississippi Flyway. He holds a waterfowler’s special appreciation for the hard work and preparation that go into making a great duck hunt, along with the unique camaraderie only found in a duck blind. Every fall Blake finds himself on a quest for one more perfect hunt when the ducks turn on a dime to the well timed call, lock wings, and drop into the decoys on a crisp morning backlit with an unforgettable sunrise.
